Let me tell you a little bit about myself:
I'm twenty years old, I live in Richmond (Virginia), I am pretty quiet but I constantly have ideas and thoughts brewing in my head; so much that I have an urge to be a writer, where I can vent some of my ideas. Currently I am studying for a BFA degree in Film at Virginia Commonwealth University. I have a life-long passion to be a filmmaker, a writer/director to be specific, however, I also have an equal amount of interest in screenwriting.
So here's my plan... for this blog:
I want this to be a place for me to put my words - specifically I want to start reviewing independent and classic films on a weekly basis; I also plan on posting trailers and other information based on independent films that seem interesting. Occasionally, I want to be able interview people who work in the film industry as well (if that is possible).
If you are wondering why this blog is called "The Seahaus", keep wondering, because I don't know why it's called that either. My brain just liked that word (I think I may be the creator of the word, it's kind of like a play on bauhaus... maybe seahaus is a word in German or something).
Well, that's about all I have to say. I hope this was not a half-assed introduction.
